Early morning after getting up from the bed and before putting
your foot on earth, we ask pardon of Mother Earth and for
forgiveness of all our sins.
Karaagre Vasathe Lakshmi Kara madhaye Saraswati
Karammule tu Govindah Prabhaate Karadarshanam
Lakshmi lives at the tip of the palm; Saraswati at the bottom of
the palm and in the middle is Govinda (Krishna, an avatar of Lord
Vishnu). If you chant this prayer early in the morning, you will
have the blessings of Lakshmi, Saraswati and Krishna.

Aadi Deva Namastubhyam Praseed Mam Bhaaskara
Divaakar Namastubhyam Prabhaakar Namo-astute
Salutations to Surya Narayan; who is the foremost amongst the
Devas and who is also worshipped as Bhaskar, Divaakar and Prabhaakar.
Be kind to us O Lord.

Om Sarva mangala maangalye Shiva sarvartha saadhike
Sharnaye Tryambake Gauri Narayani Namo-astute
Our salutation to the Universal mother! You are the source of
auspiciousness and the bestower of happiness. You fulfill our
desires and you are the refuge for all. You are the three-eyed Gauri
and Narayani.
Guru Mantra
Gur Brahma Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara
Guru Sakshaat-param-Brahma, Tasmai Shree Guruve Namah
The Guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The Guru is verily the
Supreme Brahman! Salutations to that Guru.

Vidya Arambham Karishyami Siddhi Bhavatu May Sada
Oh Saraswati Maa, my humble prostrations unto Thee, you are the
fulfiller of all wishes. I start my studies with Thy worship and
pray to you for success.

My obeisance to Saraswati Maa, Goddess of learning, who is fair like
the kund flower, the moon and the snow; who is dressed in white with
the precious Veena in Her hand; who is adored by Brahma, Vishnu and
Shiva. Protect us Mother by completely removing the dullness of our
intellect.
