Jo sumirata siddhi hoee gannaayaka kari-bar badana
Karau anugraha soee buddhi-raa see shubha guna sadana
May Lord Ganesha, whose face is the face of a noble elephant,
storehouse of wisdom,
abode of all good qualities, be gracious to me.
Mooka hoee baachal pangu charai giribara gahana
Jaasu kripaa so dayaala dravau sakaa kalimala dahana
May that merciful Lord, whose grace enables the cripple to climb
the steepest hill and who burn the
impurities of Kaliyuga to ashes be compassionate to me.
Neela saro-ruha syaam taruna aruna baaija nayana
Karau so mama ura dhaama sadaa chheera saagara sayana
May the Lord who rests on the sea of milk, with a body as dark as
the dark-blue lotus and eyes as bright
as a budding water lily, make his dwelling in my heart.
Kunda indu sama deha umaa-ramana karunaa ayana
Jaahi deena para neah karau kripaa mardana mayana
May Lord Shiva, the destroyer of Kamadeva, whose form is the
color of the Jasmine flower or the moon,
the beloved spouse of Parvati and the abode of compassion, show me
his grace.
Bandau guru-pada-kanja kripaa sindhu nara roopa haari
Mahaa moha tama punja jaasu bachana rabikara nikara
I bow to the lotus feet of my Guru, an ocean of grace, Hari in
human form, whose words are like
a flood of sunlight on the deep darkness of ignorance.
