Pandit Munelal Tribute

On June 15th, 2009, Hinduism lost a great hero. Prakashji was indeed a light to hundreds and thousands of people throughout North America and the Caribbean. He made an unforgettable impact in their lives and ignited a spark of interest towards our great tradition.

His Bhajans and discourses inspired the lives of both old and young alike who needed hope and courage to face life. He will always be remembered because of the difference he made during his life on earth. The best tribute we can make towards his memory is to remember his teachings and keep the torch of Hindu Dharma burning brightly throughout the world.

We can all get peace from the knowledge that he is now with his beloved Lord.

No one who has come on earth will live forever.
Sooner or later the ones we love will have to leave us.
Nothing is permanent.
What is here will eventually be gone.
When the physical body dies, no amount of wealth can buy time to live on.

Still we wish that you could hear our goodbyes,
Or our prayers for your well-being,
Or our desire that you could have stayed a little longer.
We wish we could see you one last time
To express our appreciation for all you did
To tell you what you meant to us
To let you know how much you will be missed.

But in our hearts we know that there is no reentry from death’s door
And we can only get solace in the fact that
You have arrived at your divine destination.
A place of no pain or sorrow
– only ETERNAL BLISS…
